Questions about course summaries
Are course summaries free?
Every free account includes two successful summary generations, separate from the flashcard quota. Advanced includes unlimited summary generations, subject to request limits, and lets you add personal instructions. Saved summaries remain accessible on the Free plan.
What happens to my course material?
With your consent, Edyex sends the extracted or pasted text and the chapter title to an external AI service. The uploaded file is deleted after processing. The provider may retain data under its own policies, so do not include personal or confidential information.
Can I rely on the summary?
AI can make mistakes. Compare the summary with your course, especially formulas: equations stored as images or scans may be missing. Saving a summary does not validate your learning objective.
