Getting started

Choose the experience that fits.

Student mode organizes courses, study sessions, exams, goals and flashcards. Professional mode organizes timed tasks, projects, folders, operational objectives and deadline monitoring.

Yes. Guest mode offers separate student and professional timers with local totals. Guest information is stored in your browser session and does not provide the complete history, objectives, analytics or cloud continuity available with an account.
02
Course reader

Read, listen, annotate and review.

Open PDF, DOCX, Markdown, ODT, ODP or PPTX files. PDF keeps its visual layout; other formats display extracted text. Export presentations to PDF to retain images and slide layouts.

Choose French or English, select the pages to read and adjust the speed. Edyex uses the most natural compatible voice available on the device. If Edyex Pure Voice is unavailable, the optimized native voice remains available. Audio stops automatically when the associated study timer ends.

Create question-and-answer notes linked to a page, search them, keep them locally on a trusted device, or import and export them. Select an active course to turn an annotation into a flashcard without leaving the reader. Only the saved card is added to your account.

Start a course study timer directly in the reader and continue reading, listening and annotating on the same page. The completed time is recorded with the selected course. Advanced users are then offered a measured recovery break, recorded separately from study time.

When relevant information exists, Edyex displays the most important daily recommendation and the nearest upcoming exam so the reading session begins with useful context. After you follow an action, that prompt is hidden for the day and can return later only if it remains relevant.
03
Timers and sound

Reliable time tracking.

Modern browsers require a user action before playing audio automatically. Select Enable end sound after starting a timer so the default or personal 30-second sound can play when time expires.

Notifications are optional and are not activated by the sound button. After starting a timer, select Activate locked-screen alert and approve the browser request. Edyex sends one generic alert when that timer ends. You can disable the subscription for the current device from the same panel or through browser settings.

The elapsed time is preserved. Student sessions distinguish interrupted work from completed work; professional tasks retain the actual duration for performance analysis.
04
Data and analytics

Understand every indicator.

Edyex analyses only the information recorded in your account to identify useful next steps. Depending on the mode and the features you use, this may include:

  • your objectives and progress toward them;
  • completed timer sessions, consistency and time allocation;
  • your timetable, planned preparation, reviews, exams, assignments and approaching deadlines;
  • review-card progress, including new, difficult and mastered cards;
  • for professional work, planned versus actual task duration and project progress.

Transparent rules compare these signals to detect progress, delays, imbalances or priorities. The monitoring engine uses saved account data, including syllabus-generated entries after you approve them. The language model creates editable drafts only when you explicitly request syllabus planning or automatic review cards.

Recommendations are guidance based on the available data. You remain responsible for deciding whether they fit your situation.

Progress uses completed timed activity associated with the relevant course, project or folder. Worker objectives begin counting activity from the date the objective is created.

Readable text is extracted from the uploaded file. Relevant course content and your optional instructions are then transmitted securely to a language-model service to create an editable draft. The original document is deleted immediately after processing and is not stored. Review every generated card and do not upload confidential or sensitive information.

Advanced users can upload a PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown syllabus. Edyex extracts course and laboratory periods, exams and assignments, then proposes preparation, review and exam-study blocks in free timetable periods. You can edit or reject every suggestion before saving. The source file is deleted immediately after processing; approved timetable entries and reminders remain in your account.

Yes. Once you approve and save the plan, monitoring treats generated entries like manually created entries. It can remind you about planned preparation or review periods, flag approaching assignments, and identify an approaching exam that has no protected preparation block.
05
Plans and billing

Choose the right level of support.

The Free plan includes student and professional timers, courses, tasks, projects, folders, objectives, core analytics and recommendations, up to seven professional planning blocks per week, the course reader for PDF, Word and Markdown with audio, annotations, flashcard creation and an integrated study timer, manual flashcards, the default timer sound and two successful automatic flashcard generations per account.

A Free account can create up to seven professional calendar blocks in each Monday-to-Sunday week. The allowance renews for every new week. Existing blocks remain visible and can still be edited, completed, started or deleted after the limit is reached. Advanced accounts can create unlimited blocks.

Advanced includes automatic syllabus planning with editable timetable and reminder suggestions, a measured recovery break after course-reader study sessions, unlimited professional planning, complete analytics, CSV and Excel exports, advanced personalized recommendations, complete monitoring with priority alerts and action plans, a personal 30-second timer sound and unlimited automatic flashcard generation.

Advanced costs 7 $ CAD with monthly billing. The annual subscription is 50 $ CAD per year, equivalent to 4.17 $ per month, and saves 40% compared with twelve monthly payments. A specialized provider securely handles checkout and subscription management.

Open My profile, then select Payment history. Edyex retrieves the invoices associated with your billing account and provides official receipt or PDF links when available. If two-factor authentication is enabled, you must complete verification before accessing billing information.

A generation is counted only after the service successfully produces an editable draft. A technical failure does not consume the quota. The limit belongs to the account and does not reset when you sign out or change devices.
06
Account and privacy

Control your information.

Application records are scoped to the account that created them. Authorized service providers or administrators may access limited information when necessary to operate, secure or support the service.

Email verification confirms that you can receive account messages at the address provided. New accounts remain inactive until the secure verification link is used. The link is time-limited; if it expires, contact Edyex support for assistance.

From My profile, select Enable two-factor authentication. Scan the QR code with a compatible authenticator application, confirm your password and enter the six-digit code. Save the recovery codes in a secure place: each can be used only once if your authenticator is unavailable.

On the verification page, select Recovery code and enter one of the codes saved during setup. Once signed in, generate a new set of recovery codes or reconfigure two-factor authentication. If you have neither your authenticator nor a recovery code, contact support so your identity can be verified.

Use the Contact page and select a privacy-related subject in your message. We may verify your identity before responding. Applicable legal exceptions may limit certain requests. Read the privacy policy.
